He decided to return home and moved to Austin, where he watched the filming of a Quentin Tarantino movie starring Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. He became fluent in Italian and could work his way around in Dutch and German and made many new friends along the way. A few years after graduating from United High School in 1998 Marco embarked on a two and a half year European adventure, living in Florence, Lugano, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Berlin and in the process visiting over thirty countries. Known for his sense of humor, creativity, compassion, sensitivity, generosity, quick-wit and his adventurous spirit, Marco leaves behind a legacy of love of life and a strong work ethic.
